Governing Board Committees

The Governing Board has established the following committees composed of Society members to administer and carry out specific activities as described below.

  • Business Management Committee
    Develops financial policies and the Society's annual budget, as well as oversees investments. For more information, contact
  • Audit Committee
    Assists the Governing Board in fulfilling its financial oversight responsibilities. Acts as liaison between the Society's independent accountants and the entire Governing Board. For more information, contact
  • Nominating and Election Committee
    Nominates candidates for office, taking into consideration the suggestions of the membership and the qualifications and contributions to the Society of the prospective candidates. If interested in serving in a leadership position in the Society, please complete our Leadership questionnaire to assist us in determining your skills and experience. Please note: forms are collected all year but only evaluated and reviewed during the months of April and May.   • Recognition Committee
    Serves as a coordinating body and as an administrative agent of the Governing Board over all recognition programs including awards and honors that are not governed by the Society's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.
