The Protein and Co-Products Division Student Travel Grant assists graduate student presenters in presenting their work at the AOCS Annual Meeting, as well as encourages them to become active in the Protein and Co-Products Division and the Society. The maximum number of individual grants given per year is limited to five.
What does the recipient receive?
- Certificate
- US $200 honorarium
- Complimentary Protein and Co-Products Division meal ticket
Who is eligible?
Graduate students who have:
- not already received their graduate degree, or begun their career employment prior to May of the presentation year
- never received the Protein and Co-Products Division Student Travel Grant
How do I nominate someone?
Login to the Awards Portal to submit the following application materials by December 16.
- Application statement (300–500-words) describing the significance of the applicant’s accomplishments and progress in research, as well as clearly demonstrates how the applicant’s research interests are consistent with scope and activities of the Protein and Co-Products Division
- Copy of abstract submitted for the current year’s AOCS Annual Meeting in the protein and co-products interest area
- Graduate program name and year within the program
