The Peter and Clare Kalustian Award recognizes an Honored Student doing research towards an advanced degree. Special consideration is given to candidates of Armenian descent. Provided by the Dr. Peter and Mrs. Clare Kalustian estate.

- Opportunity to present an award lecture at the AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo
Who is eligible?
Individuals selected in the award year are recipients of the AOCS Honored Student Award.
Preference shall be given to a student 1) of Armenian descent, 2) with high academic grades, or 3) in need of financial assistance.

His research focuses on the structural, functional, and bioactive properties of fava bean proteins and peptides, emphasizing sustainable extraction, enzymatic hydrolysis, and peptide-based health applications. Beyond his research, Timilehin serves as President of the University of Manitoba Graduate and Postdoctoral Society and is an active volunteer and member of AOCS, IFT, and CIFST. He is passionate about advancing sustainable plant proteins and functional food innovation.
