Who is eligible?
All papers published within an AOCS journal from October to September the year preceding the AOCS Annual Meeting that address oxidation, stability, quality, or flavor of lipids are eligible.
For example, the 2023 Edwin N. Frankel Award candidates must have a paper published between October 2021 and September 2022.
How do I nominate someone?
No nomination required. All AOCS journal articles are automatically considered. The Lipid Oxidation and Quality Division Chair identifies an awards committee that selects the winning paper after the 4th quarter publication. Reviews begin January 1.
