The Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Award for Best Paper in Protein and Co-Products recognizes outstanding papers that report original research in the categories of chemistry/nutrition and engineering/technology of protein and co-products. One paper is selected from each category. Presented by the Protein and Co-Products Division. Sponsored by Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

- Recognition at the AOCS Annual Meeting
Who is eligible?
All papers published within the Journal of American Oil Chemists’ Society (JAOCS) during the calendar year before the AOCS Annual Meeting are eligible, with the exception of papers listing author(s) who received the award within the previous three years. Authors do not need to be members of AOCS or the Division.
How do I nominate someone?
No nomination required. All JAOCS journal articles are automatically considered. The Protein and Co-Products Division Chair identifies an awards committee that selects the winning paper after the 4th quarter publication of JAOCS. Reviews begin January 1.
