StudentA regularly full-time undergraduate or graduate student interested in the science and technology of fats, oils and related substances. Individuals may work no more than 50% time, excluding academic assistantships and/or fellowships. A Professor must confirm these conditions every year, in writing. Student membership are non-transferable and for a calendar year. Join or renew!
Retired AOCS MembershipA current Member who is 62 years of age or older and works fewer than 150 days per year. Contact AOCS to request Retired Membership.
Emeritus AOCS MembershipA current Member who (1) meets the qualification of Retired AOCS Membership and has completed 35 years of membership in the society, or (2) is a past President, AOCS Award of Merit winner, or A.R. Baldwin Distinguished Service Award winner. Emeritus AOCS Membership is granted with the approval of two-third of the Governing Board.
