Marguerite provides content as well as copyediting and proofreading for inform, the membership magazine of AOCS. She often draws on her broad background in science to interact with AOCS members and staff.

Torrey has her BA in Chemistry, College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio; M.S. and Ph.D. in Water Chemistry (Department of Civil Engineering), and did her Post-Doc at the Argonne National Laboratory in Argonne, Illinois.

Torrey previously worked as a copyeditor for AOCS refereed journals (1996-2006).
