DEFINITION
This method specifies a screening procedure based on an enzyme-linked immunosorbent screening assay (ELISA) for the detection of aflatoxins B1, B2, and G1. The method is based on study conducted by AOAC International.
SCOPE
Applicable to screening aflatoxin B1, B2, and G1contamination in corn at =20 ng/g. If a false negative rate of <5% is required, perform duplicate ELISA on the same test sample extract. Reanalyse positive samples by official, quantitative method.
