Smoke, Flash, and Fire Points, Cleveland Open Cup Method

These methods determine the temperature at which the test sample will smoke, flash, or burn.

Applicable to animal, vegetable, and marine fats and oils. Flash point not applicable to test samples that flash below 150 °C (300 °F). Formerly Cc 9-40.
