Quality Reference Materials (QRMs)
Obtaining known samples with reliable report results is key to training new people, calibrating equipment, testing new methods and a multitude of other lab testing activities. AOCS offers Quality Reference Samples with their respective reports for these and other uses.
Consensus reference materials are available to purchase for quality assurance testing and internal quality control. All quality reference samples are analyzed by participants in the AOCS Laboratory Proficiency Program and shipped with peer-reviewed reports that include consensus mean values, z-scores and standard deviation for various components.
