The 17th AOCS Latin American Congress and Exhibition on Fats, Oils, and Lipids, provided an international forum for 309 professionals, scientists, researchers and students in the fats and oils industry to enhance their business knowledge of today's market and learn how to prepare for the future. Attendees represented 168 companies from 30 countries.
The exhibition featured 33 suppliers in the international fats and oils trade in a unique atmosphere that facilitated business and interaction among industry leaders and industry-related firms from around the world.
“The Scientific Committee succeeded in building a program from soy and palm to special oils issues with top-level lectures on extraction; refining and processing; health and nutrition; and structure, functionality, and applications in food, among others,” said Andrés Rumayor, General Chair.
