AOCS Technical Services has collaborated with BASF Plant Science to develop Certified Reference Materials (CRM's) for EH92-527-1 potato The CRM's, AOCS 0806-A; -B; -C; and -D, were prepared according to ISO Guides 30-35 and are intended to serve as a control group for third party testing of potatoes for this transformation event.

The purity of AOCS 0806-A and B, non-modified potato, and AOCS 0406-C and D, EH92-527-1 potato, was verified by DNA- (GeneScan USA, New Orleans, LA) based detection methods. Materials were lyophilized and processed by Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan USA. The ground potato has been packaged (Illinois Crop Improvement Association, Champaign, IL, USA) under a nitrogen environment into 27 ml and 10 ml headspace vials containing 10g or 1 g of ground material respectively.

AOCS Technical Services is offering the CRM's for U.S. $55 each, plus shipping, for the 10 g samples and U.S. $35 each, plus shipping, for the 1 g samples.
