AOCS Resource Directory

The traditional AOCS Membership Directory has been expanded to include a variety of additional reference information.  The NEW online version of the AOCS Resource Directory includes the traditional membership contact information, a directory of international fats and oils associations, a vendor listing of companies serving the fats and oils industry, and a technical reference section.

Member Resource
This is your primary access to the AOCS Membership database.  As an AOCS Member, you have access to professionals around the world.  The database is searchable by first name, last name, interest area, state/province, or country.

Association Resource
This database contains over 600 related associations, including academic institutions, specialized research institutes, trade federations, and nonprofit organizations.  This resource is provided to AOCS members to promote and facilitate communication among all fats, oils, lipids, and surfactants and detergents professions.  You can search for an association by name, acronym, interest area, and country.

Industry Resource
A database of over 1900 companies involved in the fats and oils industry, members can contact vendors that provide equipment, chemicals and ingredients, specialize in instrumentation or the engineering of plants, or even get in touch with consultants or publishers.  Companies can be looked up by name, area served, and country.

Technical Resource
This external resource, maintained by the USDA, helps AOCS members maintain technical excellence in their profession.  It includes numerous oilseed supply and distribution charts and statistics, a glossary of terms, and a list of standard conversions.
