AOCS Annual Meeting This year's Annual Meeting offers Phospholipid Division members a robust technical program and three networking events... Call for Nominations Our division board consists of a chairperson, a vice chair, a secretary/treasurer and three members-at-large. These are elected for three-year terms, and the terms of the current board members end this spring... AOCS Short Course on Lecithin Properties and Technological Functions The Phospholipids Division announces a short course on "Lecitihin Properties and Technological Functions" in conjunction with the AOCS annual meeting in Qébec City.... Phospholipid Emusifiers in Reconstituted Cream (from inform) Phospholipids (PL) extracted from cow's milk and from soybeans were examined for their emulsifying properties in reconstituted cream using butter oil... Herbicide-Tolerant Soybean Submitted (from inform) Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., the DuPont subsidiary based at Johnston, Iowa, USA, announced on November 28 that it had completed its U.S. regulatory submission for approval of its proprietary Optimum(TM) GAT(TM) trait in soybeans...
