AOCS 2007 Annual Meeting in Québec City
This year's Annual Meeting offers Edible Applications Technology Division members a robust technical program and three networking events.

The technical program is online, including oral presentations and poster presentations. Updates and other conference information can be found at the official Annual Meeting webpage.

To receive the early registration fees, be sure to register by April 13, 2007. Click here for registration information.

Remember to sign up for the Edible Applications Technology / Protein & Co-Products Division Dinner when registering for the meeting. The dinner will be Tuesday, May 15, from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. The speaker will be J.K. Daun from Agri-Analytical Consulting, presenting on "Fuzzy Canola."

Other Edible Applications Technology Division networking events include the Roundtable Discussion Monday, May 14, from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m., and the Board Meeting Sunday, May 13, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

During the Annual Meeting, the Timothy Mounts Award will be presented to N.A. Michael Eskin, of the University of Manitoba, Canada. Honored Student Andrea Cisneros, of the University of Wisconsin, USA, will be presenting within the technical program.

You are also encouraged to visit the Edible Applications Technology Division website.

Call for Nominations
The Edible Applications Technology Division Board will be changing at the AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo in Québec City, Canada in May of 2007. If you would like to volunteer, or nominate someone else for a position (Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary/Treasurer) on the Edible Applications Technology Board, please contact Ernesto Hernandez at ehernandez@omegapure.com. Nominations are being accepted until February 28, 2007.
