For structure designations, abbreviations and references, please see listing at the end of this table. Where a botanical name is cited the acid is to be found in the seed oil. Where there are several common names for the same acid, these are cross-referenced to the one that is most used.

**= Original designation of structure incorrect; more probable structure listed.
