Campaign for Technology
Our current fundraising initiative, the Campaign for Technology will enter its fourth year
this May during the 99th AOCS Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, USA. The campaign has
raised over $308,007.00 so far, but we still have a long
way to go to reach our goal of $500,000 by 2009.
Gifts received for this campaign are being used to upgrade and improve all electronic and
communications products and services offered by AOCS. Technology connects us globally to AOCS
Members and users so that the exchange of information—a key component of the AOCS Mission
—can be carried out. Make your gift

- An online Consultants Directory is in development. Soon you will be able
to get your technical questions answered quickly.
- Distance-learning programs. Don't have time to travel to a meeting?
Distance learning programs are being designed in different interest areas so you can get
you the information you need—at your pace!
- Various design and navigation aspects of
www.aocs.org will be updated to make the website more user-friendly.
- Overall web and technology upgrades, such as enhanced networking software
and an improved online library are being investigated.
