Thank you to those who attended the 97th AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo in St. Louis, Missouri. This event attracted over 1,700 delegates from all over the world who had interest in learning and discussing the latest developments in the science and technology of fats, oils, surfactants, and related materials.

The 97th AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo offered:

    • Known as the Gateway to the West, St. Louis was an exciting place for the 97th AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo. St. Louis is not only home to the Gateway Arch, the nation's tallest monument, but also the world's largest brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Located just north of St. Louis is the "meeting of the rivers" where the Missouri and Illinois Rivers join the Mississippi River. And, don't forget to "get your kicks on Route 66!" The famed Route 66, a 2,448-mile highway which opened in 1926, lured generations of travelers to head west across America. Visit the historic Old Chain of Rocks Bridge, which was Route 66’s original crossing over the Mississippi River at St. Louis.
