Rothsay is in the business of recycling animal and poultry by-products, including bones, trim, fat, offal and feathers, and restaurant frying oils into a broad range of commercial tallow and protein products. Services or Products Description: Rothsay is one of Canada’s largest renderers. The rendering process recycles animal and poultry by-products. The company has up-graded their plants to make use of the latest rendering technology, producing a highly digestible product. The modern facilities across Canada, from Montreal to Winnipeg, process and mechanically separate raw material at the rate of 80,000 pounds per hour, producing two major products: Tallows (animal/vegetable fat) and proteins (meat and bone, poultry, feather, blood, fish and porine meals). Recently, Rothsay has upgraded their plants to make use of the latest rendering technology producing a highly digestible product. The most potential industrial product is biodiesel, which made from tallow.
