Corporate History and Milestones:
The Flax Council was established in 1986 and has full representation from all agricultural and industrial flax interests. Through its marketing initiatives and communication programs, the Flax Council creates worldwide market opportunities for flax. Flax has traditionally been used in linoleum and linseed oil but has now spread to human and animal nutrition as well as other industrial uses such as automobile door panels and printing ink.
