AOCS Official Methods
Announcing Amended Methods for the
Official Methods and Recommended Practices of the AOCS, 6th Edition, 3rd Printing
At the Uniform Methods Committee Meeting of the 103rd AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo, a majority vote was taken to enact the online publishing of both official and amended records of the Official Methods and Recommended Practices of the AOCS. This action was taken to maintain version control of AOCS methods during revision.
The official records are those methods approved/reapproved prior to the official printing date of September 1st, 2011; whereas, the amended records are those methods with changes published after the official printing date. Amended records will be incorporated into future Additions and Revisions for the 6th edition, 3rd printing prior to the publication of the next edition.
