Membership Development Committee (MDC)
Recruits new members to the Society and encourages past members to rejoin the Society.
Division Council
Develops and recommends procedures and policies for the establishment and administration of Divisions, and to act as a communication link between all Divisions. All Division chairpersons and vice chairpersons are members of the committee.
Division Executive Steering Committees
Represents specific technical interest areas within the Society and develops programs and activities in the area of each division’s interest.
Section Council
Represents specific geographical areas within the Society and develops programs and activities of particular interest to the geographic areas.
Section Officers/Leadership Teams
Sections promote the interest and participation in the Society’s programs; provide a regional focus and forum for the Society, its members and other scientists; and serve as the local link to related associations in the region.
Professional Educators’ CIG
Provides a venue for those involved in university education and industrial training in lipids and oils to promote teaching excellence in lipid science and oil technology through discussion and exchange of ideas.
Student CIG
Provides a venue for professional activities, recognition and contacts for any full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
