Valorie's primary function is as the AOCS liaison to The Townsend Group, the company responsible for all of AOCS's advertising and exhibit sales. She finalizes ad placement in AOCS publications and facilitates the billing for both advertising and exhibit sales. Valorie also coordinates association trade agreements and assists the marketing department with special projects.

After holding positions in banking, sales, and customer service, Valorie earned a BS in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University. She spent several years teaching before returning to the business sector. She joined AOCS in 2007.
